What you'll do

• Greet and check in patients
• verify demographics and insurance eligibility
• collect and process payments and copays
• answer and direct calls, routing urgent or clinical matters to nurses or providers
• oversee administrative support staff and coordinate training
• monitor staff performance and provide support
• schedule and manage appointments
• verify insurance and process authorizations
• assist with registration and data entry
• maintain accurate electronic and paper records
• protect patient confidentiality under HIPAA
• participate in staff development and meetings
• provide professional customer service.
