Job overview
The Direct Support Professional I role is onsite in a residential setting in the Bronx, New York (10466), with a Friday–Saturday schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., totaling 16 hours. What you'll do
- Provide personal care and health support, including hygiene, grooming, toileting, medication administration per AMAP, vital signs, and medical appointments
- support meals and nutrition
- maintain a safe and clean residence
- promote skill-building, recreation, employment supports, and community integration
- document and report progress
- participate in program planning, meetings, and training
- use approved behavior management techniques and respond to emergencies.

Why this role
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a Direct Support Professional certificate. AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR, and First Aid certifications must be current or obtainable within six months of hire.
