Real Estate Transactional Associate, Community Development Finance

The Real Estate Transactional Associate role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT. The salary range is $160,000–$230,000 per year. The associate supports the Community Development Finance Practice Group, which represents lenders, investors, and syndicators in real estate financings involving tax credit programs. The associate handles transactional legal work for real estate financing projects, including drafting and reviewing loan and joint venture documents and overseeing title and survey review. The work supports financing transactions involving housing, historic rehabilitation, new markets, energy, and other tax credit programs.

What you'll do

• Support real estate financing transactions involving tax credits
• draft senior real estate-secured loan documents and/or real estate joint venture partnership or operating agreements
• review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys
• oversee paralegal title and survey review.
