The Academic Coach and Humanities Tutor, Memorial West role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is $18–$25 per hour. The coach provides recurring one-on-one sessions to help students understand academic content and build confidence. The role includes support in advanced humanities coursework and, preferably, test preparation, with scheduling and teaching resources provided by the organization.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one academic coaching in humanities subjects for K–8 and high school students
• support advanced coursework including AP Literature, AP U.S. History, and AP World History
• explain academic content clearly and engagingly
• build relationships and support student confidence
• attend onboarding, training, and shadowing.
