The Survey Crew Chief role is an onsite field position based in Idaho Falls, ID, or Twin Falls, ID, with travel throughout southeast Idaho and occasional trips to southwest Idaho. The Crew Chief leads field survey operations and delivers accurate survey data for project teams. The role coordinates with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients, while mentoring junior staff and supporting successful project delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead one- and two-person survey crews
- perform construction staking, boundary, topographic, and design surveys using Trimble GPS and robotic total stations
- collect, process, and verify survey data
- maintain quality and safety standards
- coordinate with project stakeholders
- mentor junior survey staff.
