What you'll do

• Escort patients to exam rooms
• interview patients and record vital signs and chart information
• explain treatment procedures and prepare patients for examinations
• assist physicians during exams
• collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests and blood collection
• prepare and administer medications as directed
• remove sutures and change dressings
• maintain supplies, instruments, sterilization, and required logs
• process messages
• support patient safety, privacy, and customer satisfaction.
