Material Handler

The Material Handler role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN, with a first-shift schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is not specified. The material handler receives, stores, organizes, and distributes warehouse materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and safe handling. The role supports timely operations by checking incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, using warehouse equipment, and updating inventory records.

What you'll do

• Compare incoming materials with purchase orders and packing lists
• inspect materials for damage and report issues
• store materials in designated warehouse locations
• pick, pack, count, and package outgoing orders
• load and unload trucks using forklifts or other warehouse equipment
• conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• update inventory records and assist with audits
• maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, quality, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
• use a computer to access and update information.
