• ensure incidents are documented and reported
• represent nursing on committees
• make daily rounds
• participate in performance improvement
• coordinate interdisciplinary resident care
• oversee assessments, reassessments, and care plans
• monitor infection prevention
• coordinate budget planning and cost controls
• respond to emergencies.
