This role exists to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing for patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

What you'll do

• Perform respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration and weaning, aerosol and humidity therapy, IPPB, Incentive Spirometry, airway maintenance, bronchial hygiene, chest physiotherapy, CPR, and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform and report prescribed cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function studies, and electrocardiograms.
• Prepare treatment evaluations including bedside respiratory physical assessments, patient interviews, and review of patient medical records.
• Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFTs.
• Assemble, check, operate, and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Participate in infection control, safety, and quality assurance tasks.
• Perform required cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Utilize appropriate customer scripting.
• Perform other job duties as required.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program

Experience

At least 6 months respiratory care experience
