Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Assistant role is onsite in Ellijay, GA. Compensation is not specified. The position supports housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations in the Manor Lake Ellijay community. Working with the Maintenance Director, the assistant helps keep the community clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable, while supporting adequate supplies and linen for residents. The role also helps coordinate services, inspect work areas and equipment, and support staff training and safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services
• coordinate activities with related departments
• inspect storage, linen, utility, and janitorial areas
• maintain supplies and equipment
• support infection control, waste disposal, Universal Precautions, safety, fire, and disaster procedures
• participate in staff training and orientation
• respond to emergency situations as instructed.
