Purchasing Coordinator – New Home Construction

The Purchasing Coordinator role is onsite in the Tampa Bay, Florida area, with limited remote work possible at management’s discretion and based on business needs. Compensation is not specified. Homes by WestBay builds new single-family homes in the greater Tampa Bay and Central Florida markets. The coordinator supports the Purchasing Department’s procurement and administrative work for new home construction projects. Accurate system data, vendor bids, purchase orders, and records help keep purchasing activities on schedule and support project execution across internal teams.

What you'll do

• Set up new plans and Design Studio wish lists in Newstar Enterprise
• configure options and maintain base-home and option pricing
• obtain vendor bids and enter approved costs
• generate and verify purchase orders
• prepare and track quarterly manufacturer rebates
• respond to purchasing inquiries
• maintain bid, contract, and purchase-order records
• coordinate with vendors, construction, design, and accounting teams.
