Business Data Analyst II

Job overview

The Business Data Analyst II role is hybrid, with three days onsite in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is $40–$45 per hour on a W-2 basis. The analyst maps and improves business processes, translates findings into requirements and user stories, and uses data to inform decisions. The role partners with product, business, and technical stakeholders while supporting quality assurance, change management, and workflow improvements.

What you'll do

• Lead process analysis, mapping, and improvement
• document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• analyze and report data using Excel, Power BI, and SQL
• manage Agile requirements in Jira
• support QA plans, testing, validation, and release readiness
• support change management and stakeholder adoption
• analyze KPIs, operational data, and root causes
• conduct ad hoc analyses and identify process efficiencies.
