The Manual Machinist — 1st Shift role is onsite in Lebanon, Indiana. Pay is $27–$30 per hour. IBC Group provides metal coatings, component repair, and performance engineering to help customers improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. The machinist sets up and operates manual lathes, mills, and grinders to finish thermally sprayed customer parts to required dimensions and surface specifications. The role contributes to quality production by interpreting blueprints, inspecting work with precision instruments, maintaining records and equipment, and following safety and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinding equipment
• interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• select tooling and machine settings
• measure and inspect parts using precision instruments
• maintain production records and report quality or equipment concerns
• perform routine equipment care
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• follow quality policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements
• cross-train in other production departments as workload requires.
