The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate care.

What you'll do

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
• Utilize appropriate age and population specific standards.
• Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.
• Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.
• Adhere to the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Experience

At least one year of experience. At least six months of travel experience. Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.
