The assistant teacher supports classroom learning and children’s development by helping implement curriculum, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and collaborating with the Lead Teacher and families.

• Assist with classroom curriculum and adapt activities to children’s needs

• support development through structured activities, play, and positive guidance
• help maintain routines and communicate with parents or guardians
• monitor and report progress or concerns to the Lead Teacher
• follow health, safety, and licensing requirements

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required. Previous childcare, school, or youth-program experience is preferred but not required. CPR/First Aid certification is required or may be obtained within the designated period after hire. No nights, weekends, or holidays, except one monthly after-hours staff meeting.
