Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Miami, FL, supporting the MRO division. Compensation is not specified. The role supports the Accounting Department’s daily, weekly, and monthly financial work. It helps maintain accurate general ledger records and reporting, supports payment processing and audit preparation, and works with the Controller and other departments to meet reporting deadlines.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly journal entries and month-end account reconciliations
• verify transaction report data with other departments
• monitor vendor accounts and accounts payable aging
• maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
• assist with check batches and payment setup for approval
• support Controller and Assistant Controller projects
• meet reporting deadlines
• prepare documentation for external auditors.
