The Vice President of Communications role is based onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $185,000–$205,000 per year. Surgo Health is building behavioral intelligence tools and data to help organizations understand health decisions and improve outcomes. Reporting to the CEO, the VP owns the company narrative and executive thought leadership, establishes Behavioral Intelligence as a recognized category, and builds the communications function. The role translates research and data into accurate public-facing stories and leads media, stakeholder, and digital communications as the company grows.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve company-level messaging
• establish Behavioral Intelligence as a category
• align company narrative with product positioning
• develop CEO and executive thought leadership
• prepare spokespeople for interviews and speaking engagements
• translate research and data into clear, accurate stories
• lead proactive press strategy, journalist outreach, and press materials
• oversee corporate and CEO social channels and advise on owned content.
