Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is an onsite, part-time position in Fort Myers, FL, scheduled for 20–25 hours per week. Compensation is $24–$28 per hour. The technician supports a community association and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager. The role fulfills community-association maintenance obligations by completing assigned work orders, inspecting common areas, and handling minor repairs and upkeep so the property remains clean, safe, and maintained.

What you'll do

• Inspect common areas and the perimeter
• remove trash and debris
• perform minor handyman repairs
• pressure-clean or hose common areas
• assist with event setup and clubhouse and common-area janitorial work
• check and replace lights and sensors, maintain light-supply inventory, and reprogram timers
• report drainage and building-surface issues
• complete small painting projects and check AC drip pans.
