Quality Manager

What you'll do

• Lead implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act at the plant
• implement corporate quality assurance programs
• monitor finished-product results against company and customer specifications
• supervise the quality team and develop employee skills
• manage departmental spending
• maintain audit and inspection readiness and support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits
• develop HACCP and QACCP plans and QA/QC procedures
• investigate product and production issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
• coordinate quality efforts with research and development
• maintain current regulatory and industry knowledge
• oversee plant management of change and assigned regional regulatory components
• monitor integrated pest management
• follow and help enforce GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements on the production floor.
