Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Job overview

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role is based in Fort McDowell, AZ, providing care primarily in clients’ homes; some assignments may be in assisted-living or residential-care facilities. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. Stand Out Home Care provides in-home support to people who need assistance due to age, illness, disability, or other health conditions. The PCA helps clients with daily living, household tasks, meals, transportation, and companionship while following care plans, respecting privacy and dignity, and communicating changes in clients’ health or condition to families and care-team members.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• perform light housekeeping, laundry, cleaning, and dishwashing
• prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences
• provide transportation to appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and errands
• offer companionship and social engagement
• monitor and report changes in health, behavior, mood, or condition
• follow care plans and communicate with families and care teams
• protect client privacy and confidentiality.
