The Field Service Technician - Electric Power Generator role is onsite in Longview, TX. Pay is $21.47–$36.81 per hour. HOLT CAT is a Caterpillar dealership that provides equipment service and support. The technician troubleshoots and repairs electric power generation equipment, gas and diesel engines, automatic transfer switches, and switchgear to respond to customer needs safely and promptly. The role also tests repairs, maintains service records and equipment, communicates job progress, and completes required training; overnight travel and an on-call rotation are required by the posting.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair electric power generators, gas and diesel engines, automatic transfer switches, and switchgear
• remove and install parts and assemble components to specifications
• test and verify repairs
• complete service reports and order parts
• maintain vehicle inspection records and equipment
• communicate job progress
• complete technician and safety training
• work overtime as required.
