Part-Time Mental Health Clinician — Weekend Coverage

Job overview

The Part-Time Mental Health Clinician role is onsite in Fremont, CA, with compensation of $30 to $32 per hour. The clinician works in Sunol Hills’ six-bed crisis residential program, which supports adolescents recovering from behavioral health crises. The role provides individual and family therapy and coordinates treatment, documentation, and discharge planning. Through trauma-informed care, safety monitoring, and coordination with staff and clients’ support networks, the clinician helps youth prepare for aftercare and reintegration into their communities.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and family therapy
• coordinate with people involved in client treatment
• interact with clients in the milieu
• cover for clinicians when they are out
• complete timely and accurate charting
• maintain client safety
• collaborate and communicate with staff
• use crisis prevention and intervention knowledge
• participate in daily shift exchanges
• stay informed about incident reports and on-site challenges
• prioritize trauma-informed care
• coordinate treatment and discharge planning.
