The Purchasing Manager role is onsite in Millen, GA. Compensation is $65,000–$75,000 per year. The role supports purchasing and materials distribution at a Champion Home Builders plant, a manufacturer of factory-built homes and buildings. The manager directs purchasing and storeroom activities to ensure the plant has needed materials, equipment, and supplies. The role oversees procurement from purchase intent through delivery, manages supplier and contract issues, and supervises the Purchasing Department.

What you'll do

• Direct purchasing and distribution activities
• implement corporate contracts and validate information in Navision
• supervise storeroom and central supply personnel
• prepare purchase orders and change notices based on inventory
• review purchase order claims and contracts for policy compliance
• prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements
• oversee procurement through delivery
• coordinate supplier issues and quality feedback with corporate purchasing
• work with the Controller on Finance Policy 2100
• resolve supplier invoice and payment issues
• supervise, hire, train, and evaluate department employees.
