Avionics Technician — F-16 Sustainment, Level 2

The Avionics Technician — F-16 Sustainment, Level 2 role is onsite in Greenville, SC, with pay of $34–$38 per hour. The technician supports aircraft sustainment and flight readiness for F-16 systems. The technician installs and tests electrical harnesses and components, troubleshoots avionics systems, and performs repairs and inspections. This work supports flight-test and depot functions and helps maintain aircraft readiness.

What you'll do

• Execute flight-test modifications, testing, and installation of electrical harnesses and components
• route and terminate wires and cables
• perform operational checks
• troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems
• occasionally assist with general mechanic installations, testing, and inspections.

Why this role

Requires at least four years of F-16 fighter avionics/electrical experience; candidates with at least six years of recent experience on other fighter aircraft such as F-18 or F-15 may be considered. Shift assignment may be first shift, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM, or second shift, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, following training.
