What you'll do

• Oversee the dietary department and supervise staff
• manage food and supply purchasing within budget
• guide diet planning, menu formulation, preparation, and service of regular and therapeutic diets
• ensure menus meet resident needs and physician orders
• obtain diet histories and maintain food preferences
• document nutritional progress
• monitor weights and collaborate with nursing staff
• monitor meal service, food production, sanitation, and safe food handling
• maintain records, budgets, and supplies
• participate in care planning and quality improvement.
