What you'll do

• Supervise environmental services personnel and daily work
• manage department records and supplies
• help implement the housekeeping program and recordkeeping systems
• establish staff work standards and procedures
• train housekeeping or laundry personnel
• assign duties and inspect work
• maintain environmental and linen cleanliness
• organize shifts and replacements
• coordinate with residents and clinical and department staff
• prepare housekeeping schedules
• conduct daily rounds and inspections
• work with infection control
• educate staff and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
