What you'll do

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and topographical or geologic data
• plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures using design software
• produce stormwater, sewer, pipeline, parking, sidewalk, and roadway designs
• prepare site grading and utility plans and coordinate with municipal parties
• perform hydraulic calculations and prepare permitting documents
• communicate project status and prepare reports and project data.

Why this role

Requires a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, 2–3 years of civil project design experience, Engineer in Training certification, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office. Flexible scheduling options include five 8-hour days or four 9-hour days with a Friday half day; core hours are 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
