Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist role is onsite in Farm Hill, FL; compensation is not specified. The role manages accurate, timely invoice processing and payment while maintaining financial records and vendor relationships. It supports the Controller and works with Purchasing and Receiving to resolve discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close, cash-flow forecasting, and audit requests.

What you'll do

• Review, verify, code, and process vendor invoices
• prepare payments by check, ACH, or other methods
• reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger
• respond to vendor inquiries
• maintain transaction records and prepare audit documentation
• enter and maintain data in QuickBooks and other financial systems
• recommend process improvements
• partner with Purchasing and Receiving to resolve purchase order, packing slip, and three-way match discrepancies.
