The Lead Mission Engineer — Full Stack role is onsite in Woburn, MA, with a full-time salary range of $175,000–$240,000 per year. The role is part of STR’s Mission Applications Group within its Analytics and Command & Control Division, developing technology for national security missions. The engineer leads software teams that build, integrate, and deploy systems for operational use. By translating customer needs into reliable full-stack applications and coordinating field testing, the role helps move advanced software capabilities into mission environments.

What you'll do

• Break down use cases and user-defined problems, build prototypes and evolve them into applications
• develop frontend features
• lead cross-functional engineering teams to integrate and deploy systems
• work with military and government customers to translate requirements into software features
• travel to integration sites to deploy, test, and triage software in secure operational environments, averaging no more than one week per month.
