Home Care Scheduler

Job overview

The Home Care Scheduler role is in person at the office in Carpinteria, CA. Compensation is $22–$26 per hour. The scheduler supports Visiting Angels of Santa Barbara and Santa Maria by coordinating services between clients and caregivers. The role creates and maintains client and caregiver schedules to ensure staffing coverage and continuity of care. It also handles daily schedule changes, telephony records, staffing reports, office support, and caregiver-team communication, including managing on-call evenings and weekends as directed.

What you'll do

• Schedule caregivers with clients for open hours and shifts
• maintain computer schedules and timely data entry
• contact clients and caregivers about daily changes
• monitor telephony logs and correct records for payroll and billing
• report unfilled shifts and caregiver supply and demand
• communicate agency policies
• perform general office duties
• participate in caregiver evaluations and improvement plans
• maintain confidentiality and positive relationships
• manage on-call evenings and weekends as directed.
