Direct Support Professional — Complex Medical

The Direct Support Professional — Complex Medical role is full-time and in person in Juneau, AK, providing support in an individual’s home. Compensation is $20–$23 per hour, with an additional $3 per hour for awake overnight shifts. REACH promotes choice, dignity, and well-being through individualized supports for people with developmental disabilities. The DSP provides hands-on, person-centered personal care and health-related support to help an individual remain safe, healthy, and comfortable at home. The role follows individualized support plans and care protocols, documents services, and reports changes in health or well-being.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal care routines and transfers using a Hoyer lift and adaptive equipment
• provide catheter and G-tube care and tube feedings according to established procedures
• assist with medication administration as trained and authorized
• support communication using ASL and other individualized methods
• assist with range-of-motion exercises and mobility
• monitor and report changes in health or comfort
• maintain documentation and medication records
• follow support plans and agency procedures
• help maintain a safe and respectful home environment.
