Fill Room Line Set-Up Mechanic

The Fill Room Line Set-Up Mechanic role is onsite in Wayne, MI. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour. The mechanic prepares QuestSpecialty’s fill-room product line and equipment for each day’s production run. The role supports production readiness by setting up line components, completing timely and thorough washouts, and checking equipment and product specifications. During operation, the mechanic monitors fill weights, crimpers, valves, gas weights, and the marble dropper hopper.

What you'll do

• Set up the marble dropper, fill heads, fill weights, valve dropper and locators, crimpers, gassing station, and can rails
• ensure timely, correct washouts
• verify the proper filter and matching can specifications
• remove old product from lines
• label and store washout waste in a drum
• monitor fill weights, crimpers, valves, gas weights, and marble dropper hopper
• visually check grounds, including the gashouse.

Why this role
