Inventory Specialist — Shipping and Receiving

What you'll do

• Count, pick, issue, pack, and process parts
• receive deliveries and coordinate with Purchasing or Quality as needed
• move items to shop-floor stock
• identify parts and maintain records, including serial numbers
• clean parts and apply rust preventative when applicable
• prepare shipments and paperwork
• load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling
• operate an overhead crane when applicable
• report defective materials or unusual conditions
• assemble shipping crates with power and hand tools
• maintain clean work areas and follow safety procedures.
