Human Resources Representative

The Human Resources Representative role is onsite in La Grange, IL. Compensation is $24–$27 per hour. The position supports the Midwest Operating Engineers Fringe Benefit Funds, MOEITS, Local 150 Staff, and MCLCU. The representative processes payroll and provides HR administration, helping maintain accurate, confidential employee records and timely support for payroll, attendance, recruitment, onboarding, and leave matters. The role serves as a resource for employee payroll and attendance inquiries.

What you'll do

• Process biweekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now for multiple company codes
• audit timecards, attendance, PTO, and payroll entries
• maintain payroll data and resolve discrepancies
• generate payroll reports and records
• support daily timekeeping and attendance transactions
• enter call-offs and distribute attendance notifications
• coordinate candidate communications and interviews
• assist with onboarding and orientation
• maintain personnel files and HRIS records
• track leaves and FMLA documentation
• support employee engagement, events, wellness programs, and HR administration.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of payroll-processing experience are required. Associate degree, HR or administrative support experience, and ADP Workforce Now experience are preferred.
