What you'll do

• Administer both oral and IV contrast
• evaluate patients for any allergic reactions
• place correct IV for the exam being performed. Operate and understand CT scanning equipment
• practice ALARA standards
• understand physician protocols and scan appropriately. Assisting interventional radiologists with procedures. Maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens. Moving, lifting, and assisting patients on to and off the scanner table.

What we're looking for

Education

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date. (ARRT-R) Radiography. (CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography

Experience

1-3 years previous experience as a CT Technologist
