The Construction Superintendent — Restoration role is onsite in Stamford, CT, with a starting salary of $70,000–$75,000 per year, negotiable based on experience, plus eligibility for a yearly bonus. ServiceMaster DSI provides disaster restoration services to help families and businesses recover from fire and water damage. The superintendent oversees construction and carpentry projects, coordinating customers, employees, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and quality. The role supports timely, safe project completion and customer service while monitoring costs and enforcing applicable standards.

What you'll do

• Communicate with customers throughout projects
• manage and schedule carpenters
• communicate technical installation and troubleshooting issues to the Regional Construction Manager
• ensure materials, permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained
• oversee timely, quality project completion
• monitor scope and change orders
• maintain a safe work environment
• review job costs
• schedule and monitor subcontractors
• maintain clean job sites
• participate in the on-call rotation, including some nights and weekends.

Why this role

Requires at least five years of hands-on construction experience and a valid driver’s license. Project management, remodeling/restoration, and Xactimate experience are preferred.
