Process Operator

The Process Operator role is an onsite, full-time position based in the Richwoods, MO listing area, with work locations in the East St. Louis, MO and Effingham, IL regions. Pay is $32–$42 per hour, based on experience, and travel may be up to 50%. M2X Energy converts wasted methane into low-carbon methanol using modular systems. The operator runs, monitors, and maintains biogas-to-methanol production systems, supporting safe operations, equipment uptime, engineering development, site acceptance testing, and field commissioning. The role works with engineering and manufacturing teams to collect reliable data and support deployment of modular biofuel plants.

What you'll do

• Monitor and maintain production equipment
• provide daily operating reports
• operate industrial systems and handle methanol storage and transfer
• collect and log data
• perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
• assist with site acceptance testing and commissioning
• maintain test, calibration, and maintenance records
• support test equipment installation and removal
• follow safety and regulatory requirements
• coordinate equipment support and manage operating supplies.
