Job overview

The Home Health Caregiver role is onsite in Piketon, OH, providing care in patients’ homes. Compensation is $13–$16.50 per hour. Aging in Place’s home care team provides personal care and other unskilled support to help patients maintain a comfortable and safe home environment. The caregiver assists with daily living, companionship, household tasks, and community outings while observing and documenting patient needs. The role supports patient and family well-being while staying within the stated limits of non-nursing duties.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, oral care, elimination, incontinence care, ambulation, and personal care
• provide companionship and participate in recreational activities
• accompany patients on walks, trips, and appointments
• perform light housekeeping and may cook meals
• encourage family participation and provide emotional support
• remind patients to take medication but do not administer it
• certified staff may record vital signs as described
• report changes in condition and document activities and findings
• use and clean equipment safely.
