Foundation Specialist Trainee

The Foundation Specialist Trainee role is onsite in Gardiner, Maine, with out-of-town and out-of-state travel as necessary. Pay is $20 per hour plus a travel stipend. The role supports Maine Drilling & Blasting’s Foundation Services Group. The trainee assists drill operators and field supervisors while learning foundation equipment and installation work. The position contributes to safe, efficient field operations and develops the skills needed to advance to Foundation Specialist I within the first 12–18 months.

What you'll do

• Perform daily equipment maintenance
• follow company safety policies
• support drill operators as a chuck tender
• handle drill rods and related equipment
• assist with compressor maintenance
• learn forklift, grout machine, load-testing, and micropile rig operation
• maintain field accounting paperwork and logs
• attend safety meetings
• travel out of town and state as necessary.
