What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain engines used in electric generators
• diagnose trouble, disassemble engines, and inspect parts for defects and wear
• perform load banking and repair standby power generators
• maintain generator-parts inventory in the service vehicle
• complete paperwork
• communicate sales opportunities to the sales team
• repair and maintain portable generators on recreational vehicles and other specialty vehicles
• address customer problems
• use a tablet to receive scheduling changes related to emergency calls
• respond to 24-hour emergency calls as needed
• maintain the assigned company vehicle
• follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
