What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including IV catheter placement, medication administration, and monitoring
• prepare, monitor, and recover surgical patients
• assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• perform laboratory diagnostics
• operate and maintain radiology and ultrasound equipment
• maintain controlled-drug logs and medical records
• educate clients
• keep treatment and surgical areas clean and stocked
• monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
• follow applicable practice acts, legal requirements, and hospital policies.
