Measurement Systems Software Engineer

The Measurement Systems Software Engineer role is onsite in Corning, NY; pay is $50–$55 per hour. The engineer supports industrial measurement and inspection systems used in manufacturing environments. The role develops and supports production-ready software that coordinates imaging, motion, I/O, sequencing, and data handling for inspection and quality control. It also evaluates AI-assisted development practices and helps transfer, deploy, and support integrated measurement systems in manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support C#/.NET software for industrial measurement and machine vision systems. Develop distributed applications for system communication, coordination, configuration, and data handling. Support software builds, releases, deployment, integration, and technology transfer into manufacturing. Evaluate and apply AI-assisted coding tools
• document software specifications and support materials
• train engineering, maintenance, and operations personnel
• troubleshoot software and integrated measurement systems remotely and onsite.
