The Precision Metal Finishing and Fabrication Technician role is onsite in Melrose Park, IL, with listed pay of $22–$26 per hour for polishing and deburring or $23–$25 per hour for general fabrication labor. Power Services Group provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul solutions for turbines and precision parts used in power generation and industrial processes. The role supports shop production by finishing precision components or preparing and moving fabrication materials, depending on the selected opening. Work includes following blueprints and instructions, meeting quality standards, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

What you'll do

• For polishing and deburring: interpret blueprints and specifications
• polish, deburr, blend, and finish components
• inspect workmanship
• identify nonconforming parts
• maintain tools and work areas. For fabrication labor: prepare, move, clean, grind, and inspect materials
• stage tools and components
• assist shop teammates
• operate cranes or forklifts when trained and authorized.
