What you'll do

• Prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification
• enter prescription and billing data
• dispense, label, and release prescriptions
• assist with cashiering and patient service
• submit supply and medication orders under pharmacist direction
• follow medication, inventory, controlled-substance, HIPAA, and 340B requirements
• perform eligibility checks
• use the electronic health record for prescription processing
• compound medications under pharmacist supervision
• resolve third-party billing issues
• maintain inventory and pharmacy cleanliness
• travel to other health center pharmacy locations when instructed.
