Aquatics Director

What you'll do

• Develop and operate a year-round aquatics program including group lessons, swim teams, private lessons, summer camp, and special events
• manage the annual budget and revenue goals
• coordinate program promotion with marketing
• hire, train, supervise, and schedule aquatics staff
• train staff in emergency prevention, response, and reporting
• oversee payroll and staff credentials
• teach lessons where appropriate
• conduct lifeguarding, WSI, CPR/AED, and first-aid trainings
• maintain facilities, pump rooms, pool chemicals, inventory, safety equipment, cleanliness, permits, and certifications
• coordinate rental partners
• participate in agency meetings and events.
