Cabinet Maker and Shop Apprentice

Job overview

The Cabinet Maker and Shop Apprentice openings are onsite in Redwood City, CA; compensation is $25–$35 per hour. Opus Custom Cabinets builds European-style frameless and Shaker cabinetry for kitchens, vanities, and closets. The experienced cabinet maker builds custom cabinetry from shop drawings, while the apprentice learns shop work through on-the-job training. Both openings support production of custom cabinets in the shop; job-site installation is not required.

What you'll do

• For the Cabinet Maker: build custom frameless and Shaker cabinets from shop drawings
• cut, edgeband, and assemble cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers
• operate woodworking machinery such as table saws and edgebanders. For the Apprentice: learn shop work through training
• lift up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift.
