Medical Assistant, Primary Care

What you'll do

• Record patient vital signs, interviews, and medical histories in the EMR
• perform phlebotomy and collect specimens
• conduct basic in-house tests
• assist with exams, EKGs, and pulmonary function tests
• prepare and administer medications and injections under physician supervision
• manage exam-room flow and supplies
• handle referrals and prior authorizations
• greet patients, schedule appointments, process registration and payments, verify insurance, and confirm appointments.
