CSR / Sales Assistant

Job overview

The CSR / Sales Assistant role is onsite in Montgomery, AL. Compensation is $18–$24 per hour. Piedmont National supports customers and its sales team with products and services. The role assists sales staff, responds to customer needs, and coordinates order processing and updates across internal teams. Accurate follow-up and inventory support help fulfill customer requirements and keep sales opportunities current.

What you'll do

• Maintain customer relationships and coordinate requests
• process orders, confirmations, estimated ship dates, credit card orders, and RMAs
• support regional sales managers with opportunity updates
• provide order status and backlog reports
• answer customer calls and take orders
• enter orders into the ERP system
• coordinate between sales and corporate administration
• provide administrative support
• manage assigned inventory
• track purchase orders and vendors
• and negotiate with vendors and freight companies as assigned. Occasional travel may be required.

Why this role
