What you'll do

• Assess vehicle problems using customer descriptions, inspections, maintenance records, and service schedules
• verify warranty and service-contract coverage
• prepare cost estimates
• create repair orders and obtain approval signatures
• explain estimates and provide daily repair-status updates
• may open and close the shop when the Service Manager is off.
