What you'll do

  • Assess medication identity, strength, and purity
  • review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability
  • compound and dispense medications
  • advise on interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage
  • monitor prescribing trends and patient compliance
  • maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, labeling, quality, security, and disposal
  • open the pharmacy and be present as required by state board regulations.
